The Druid draws from the Scosglen wilderness tradition — a form of nature magic that predates the Horadrim. He is one of the more mechanically varied classes in the game: the same character can serve as an elemental caster, a shapeshifting melee fighter, or a summoner commanding a pack of animals and nature spirits. Each of these roles comes from a separate tree, and the builds that result are distinct enough to feel like different classes sharing a frame.

Weaknesses

The Druid's main constraint is that his competitive builds converge on the wind configuration. The Elemental tree's non-wind skills and most of the Shape Shifting tree require specific gear to perform at endgame levels, and the investment required often outpaces the returns compared to just continuing with wind builds. Shape Shifting in particular loses access to Teleport, which meaningfully reduces farming speed on builds that rely on repositioning to clear efficiently.
