City of the Damned
The City of the Damned is an alvl 84 zone in Act 4, often overlooked in favor of the adjacent River of Flame and Chaos Sanctuary. However, Unique elite packs and their minions here can still drop every item in the game, and the zone has a direct waypoint for instant access.
Why Farm Here
While the base area level of 84 means Champion packs cannot drop TC87 items, Unique elites and their minions operate at alvl 87 — high enough for full drop potential. The direct waypoint eliminates travel time, and the zone is less competitive than more popular farming spots.
Farming Tips
- Monsters have higher health and resistances than in easier alvl 85 zones like The Pit. Enigma and Infinity become important.
- The direct waypoint makes this one of the fastest zones to start farming in each game.
- Good for builds that want a change of pace from the standard farming rotation.
