River of Flame
The River of Flame connects the City of the Damned to the Chaos Sanctuary in Act 4. As an alvl 85 zone with its own waypoint, it is often farmed as a prelude to Chaos Sanctuary runs or as a standalone farming destination for builds that prefer open terrain.
Why Farm Here
The area has good elite density across a linear path leading to the Chaos Sanctuary. Elite packs can drop every item in the game. The open layout favors ranged and area-of-effect builds. Hephasto the Armorer is a guaranteed Super Unique spawn near the waypoint.
Farming Tips
- No Physical or Magic immunities are present. Fire immunes exist but most builds can handle them.
- Often combined with a Chaos Sanctuary clear for maximum efficiency.
- Hephasto always spawns near the waypoint and drops 2+ Magic quality items.
- The open terrain makes this less claustrophobic than cave-based alvl 85 zones.
