Frigid Highlands
The Frigid Highlands is home to two Super Unique bosses — Eldritch the Rectifier and Shenk the Overseer — both spawning in fixed locations near the waypoint. Their accessibility and consistent drops make them one of the most popular quick-farm targets in the game, especially for characters without Teleport or high-end gear.
Both bosses spawn in static locations near the Frigid Highlands waypoint, requiring no map exploration. As Super Uniques, they always drop at least 2 items of Magic quality or higher. Their dense minion packs provide additional drops and experience. Since you can save and exit immediately after killing them, you load into Harrogath right next to the waypoint — minimizing downtime between runs.
Use the Frigid Highlands waypoint. Shenk is down the hill to the south (encountered first when progressing through Bloody Foothills). Eldritch is immediately north of the waypoint. Both can be reached in seconds.
- No Teleport required — both bosses are steps from the waypoint.
- They are typically Cold immune only. Most non-cold builds can handle them easily.
- Super Uniques always drop 2+ Magic items regardless of player count, so MF is fully effective even on /players 1.
- At higher player counts, minion packs become excellent sources of runes and runeword bases.
- Great experience for characters in the level 70-88 range.
- Commonly paired with Pindleskin runs for a fast three-boss farming loop.
