Lower Kurast
Lower Kurast contains "Super Chests" that offer a unique non-combat approach to farming. These special chests can drop High Runes up to Ber, charms, jewels, and crafting materials — all without killing a single monster. Any character regardless of class or gear can run this farm.
Super Chests use a fixed drop pattern that is not affected by Magic Find. Instead, player count dramatically increases the quality of drops. At /players 7-8, the odds of High Runes from each chest become significant over hundreds of runs. This is one of the most accessible and reliable ways to farm Ber Runes for Enigma.
From the Lower Kurast waypoint, look for the campfire-style hut structures with bonfires. Each structure contains Super Chests. The map layout is fixed per seed, so in single-player the chests are always in the same location every game.
- Magic Find has no effect on chest drops. Do not bother stacking MF for this farm.
- Player count is everything. Run at /players 7 or 8 for maximum value.
- Each run takes only seconds — pop chests, exit, repeat.
- In single-player, the map seed is fixed, so you can memorize the exact path to the chests.
- Great for collecting crafting materials, Flawless Gems, and charms as a side benefit.
- This farm requires patience — High Rune drops are infrequent but add up over many runs.
