Level your Amazon from 1 to 75 using Poison Javelin / Exploding Arrow → Lightning Fury / Charged Strike. Includes skill progression, stat allocation, and gameplay tips.

Overview

This guide walks through leveling a Amazon from 1 to 75 efficiently. Uses Poison Javelin / Exploding Arrow → Lightning Fury / Charged Strike with a respec around level 32-38. By the end you will have used 1 of your 3 respeccs and be ready for your endgame build.

The Amazon levels with Poison Javelin and Exploding Arrow through Normal, then respecs to Lightning Fury and Charged Strike for Nightmare and Hell. Farm The Countess in Normal and Nightmare for runes for Spirit, Peace, and Insight. Buy a Gnarled Staff of Teleportation before level 24 and a Wand of Lower Resistance before level 36. Prioritize crafting Stealth and Lore as soon as possible. Lightning Immune monsters require rerolling or skipping.

Respec: Allocate enough Strength to wear all of your gear and Dexterity to reach 50% Chance to Block. Put remaining Stat Points into Vitality.
Level 39-75: Every Level up you need to allocate an amount of Dexterity to remain at 50% Chance to Block. Put remaining Stat Points into Vitality.

Helm: Lore (Ort+Sol) in any 2-socket helm — +1 skills, light radius
Armor: Stealth (Tal+Eth) in a 2-socket body armor — fastest cast rate, FRW, regen mana. Upgrade to Peace (Shael+Thul+Amn) in Nightmare for +2 bow/crossbow skills
Weapon (Pre-Respec): Any fast bow or javelin. Shop for +3 bow skills or +3 javalin skills weapons from vendors
Weapon (Post-Respec): Spirit (Tal+Thul+Ort+Amn) in a 4-socket broad sword or crystal sword — +2 skills, FCR, mana. Titans Revenge unique javelin for Lightning Fury
Shield: Rhyme (Shael+Eth) in a 2-socket bone shield/grim shield — CBF, resists. Ancient's Pledge (Ral+Ort+Tal) for resistances
Gloves: Crafted blood gloves or any with IAS, dex, resist
Belt: Any with resistances and life
Boots: Any with FRW and resistances
Rings: Rare rings with life, mana, resistances
Amulet: +1 skills or resistances
Mercenary (Act 2 Nightmare — Holy Freeze): Insight (Ral+Tir+Tal+Sol) in a 4-socket polearm — meditation aura solves all mana. Armor: Stealth or Smoke (Nef+Lum). Helm: Bulwark (Shael+Io+Sol) or Tal's mask
